There's trade offs between a Glock OEM and custom barrel - here's why...
Replaced my custom barrel with the OEM Glock barrel - why?
Had a "kaboom" event - blew the back end of a cartridge out, destroyed my 80% lower, and thankfully lost no fingers, hands or eyes in the event.
So what happened?
The Swenson barrel is a very nice tight tolerance barrel while the Glock is less so - you may ask why have a chamber that's has more tolerance - the answer is simply the Glock barrel will eat nearly any brass, including some that get a bit out of tolerance, plus if you drop the Glock in a pile of sand, there's a good chance that the barrel and ammo aren't going to get jammed.
Try that with a very tight tolerance chambered barrel and you'll be jammed all up.
So, will use the Glock when I want a false safe and reliable outcome, use the tight tolerance with very clean and perfectly sized ammo for target practice and to amaze the gallery.

Great Value for water storage
Purchased this for water storage in my get home bag.
Nice light weight with a good seal.
I actually have two in my bag - one I use to store stuff - the wide mouth is perfect for a life straw, glow-n-dark stick, bic lighter and other long narrow gear. If I need to fill this bottle for some reserve, then everything gets emptied out into a big zip lock bag.
I keep the other one full of water. Works well

Great 120V Dedicated Power Supply
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Built a mobile box for my UHF/VHF Radio (Yaesu FT-8900) when there's 120V available, otherwise using a 12V battery to power the radio if remote. The power supply is very smooth, no noise or interference, and holds the voltage over different loads (from 0.5 amps upwards to the peak amperage of 30. Fan noise is noticeable but not a distraction. Like the existing tapped threaded holes (M4 screws) to aid in mounting & securing the power supply in the EMP hardened ammo can. The warranty is as good as it gets - equal or better than many similar power supplies that cost nearly twice the amount. Plan to buy another power supply for another similar project for our local ARES group.
