Comprehensive autobiography of legendary moviemaker
Everything you would want to know about the career of producer/director Roger Corman, who takes you behind the scenes during the filming of the motion pictures that made him the so-called "King of the B's." You'll also meet the people who worked in front of, and behind the cameras to put those motion pictures on theater screens.

THE WINDOW (1949 film noir on VHS)
A classic suspense drama that so far hasn't been released on DVD, THE WINDOW is a taut, nail-biter that helped earn its star, Bobby Driscoll, a special Academy Award as outstanding juvenile actor in 1949. Other VHS units of this title have been offered on eBay at prices considerably higher, and I was able to secure this one at what I consider a bargain price, considering its rarity. Filmed on location on New York's east side during November and early December of 1947 and withheld from release until May 1949, it chillingly points out the consequences that might befall a boy who cries "wolf" once too often. Long a favorite movie of this reviewer.

An enjoyable hour with a little girl and her dog
Winning story about a little orphan girl (Sharyn Moffett) who is forced to leave her home in the south to live with her snobbish aunt in Boston. She learns to her dismay that her dog is not welcome there, No surprises, but it's an entertaining 67 minutes for the youngsters and the young at heart.
