I haven't used it for towing just yet, but the installation was about 5 hours and the directions are mostly clear. It's a single book for multiple product versions and vehicles, so you have to read between the lines. Take your time and you'll be fine. I didn't remove the spare tire, but that would most likely help for most installs. It does raise the stock height of my truck, which is nice, but I'm really looking forward to towing to see how it does.

Not Even 60-Days...
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I got this delivered August 4, 2020 and it was installed on August 7th. The battery failed October 2nd. I've replaced the battery with a new one and the UPS has worked fine and passed 3 load tests in the past 14 days, so it's not the UPS itself. These batteries are faulty. Avoid.

Required to keep your factory features!
This is the perfect device to integrate into your car. For my 2015 Silverado 1500, this allows me to keep OnStar in perfect working order, just like the OEM radio on my Pioneer DMH-1500NEX. I added the SiriuxXM SXV300V1 to the setup and I have all of the factory radio options and MORE!
The Maestro RR allows me to program buttons on the steering wheel to what I want and setup gauges on the stereo display that are read through the vehicle OBD-II port.
While I'm not a fan that it cannot integrate with the factory sound output, it does some with a speaker that you can conceal under the dashboard for the turn signals and the vehicle chime. On the plus side of this, it also allows you to control the chime and turn signal volumes a greater range than the vehicle originally would. Even on the quietest setting, the factory chime was terribly loud. I can turn it even lower with the Maestro RR.
