Good pants - a bit shorter and narrower than most
These chino shorts are different from the standard fare men's shorts: They are narrower (at the leg) and shorter (ending well above the knee), with no velcro and fewer pockets. But they are quite comfortable, well made, and I think they look good. It's hard to tell this from pictures, but these shorts look respectable and they don't make me look like an overgrown toddler, as do most cargo shorts. I know that the longer and looser pants leg style is much more dominant, but sometimes you just want to say FTW.
Two additional notes: (1) I bought these pants at a discount; I would never pay $55 for a pair of shorts. (2) I think the waist sizes run a little bit large.
