One thing I learned and you need to know

This fit my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 2WD like a glove. It was very easy to install but basic mechanical experience recommended. The one thing I did not know and quickly learned that I'd like to pass on to anyone replacing their's, if you buying a used overhead console with the compass / computer as shown here, you will need to know how to reset the new one and re-program it to enter all the pertinent information from your old one. The new used one will contain the mileage of the old vehicle it came out of. The compass will be calibrated to the position it was in when removed from the old vehicle, ect... You will need to enter your vehicles mileage, calibrate the compass and everything else. I could not find how to do this anywhere online. I'm sure these instructions are out there somewhere, I just couldn't find them. I was lucky because in my case all I needed mine for was the map lights. I removed my compass / computer assembly from my old console and installed it into my purchased console and everything worked fine. I just wanted to throw that information out there for anyone looking to replace their overhead console with a used one from somewhere. I hope someone finds this info helpful

Hydoboost unit weep hole leak fixed with this kit!

This kit fixed my hydroboost unit leak and was easy to install myself. TIP: read the instructions that are included with this kit and send the email mentioned in them for the support links. When you receive the links read "Link to Basic Reseal (weephole leak) Step by Step Pics" In those instructions there is another link to a very important update you will most likely face. I highly recommend reading the updated instructions! I had trouble and the leak remained until I read and followed the update. Then all sealed up and has been good since..
