a real turkey of a movie

I could accept the dated special effects ( okay for 1981 ) but the wooden acting and the focus on a nude ( albeit attractive ) woman was gratuitous. I'm amazed that the producers ( Golan and Globus ) got Henry Mancini to score this ( with the London Symphony Orchestra no less ) turkey about space vampires. Perhaps this film has nostalgia value for those who saw it when it came out; or maybe diehard horror buffs would appreciate it. Utter waste as far as I'm concerned.
