Problems With Tiger CD-R 700MB Silver Inkjet Hub Printable Metalized Hub Disc Media

Very Dissapointed. About 6 Months ago I bought 1000 of these discs and had No problems with them at all. I re-ordered more before Christmas I received the order on time and began to use the discs. First pack of 50 were alright. But the next three packs had defective discs in each pack The defects range from pinholes that you can see thru, to scratch marks and even back coating on the front. I like the brushed silver style of these discs but the coating is terrible this time I do believe that the manufacture of these discs needs to check their "Quality Control"

Philips Yes Or No

Bought my first one of these Philips machines when they first came out. First one lasted about one year ( about the same time my Harmon Kardon one lasted ) Bought a second one and it lasted a little longer Doesn't have a volume level record knob so I have to come from the stereo, into a mixing board and adjust the treble, bass and volume for each of the albums I am transferring to disc. Here's a pic of the second one of these units I've owned over the years Just cause it's brand new and never been used doesn't cut much weight with me Willing to take a chance on one more so I am bidding on it ( but not expecting much ) But if it goes more than $50 bucks on the bid - it's not worth it - it would cost more to repair it when it breaks down than it's what it's worth

Not Satisfied With Product

I Bought This Product Before and Had No Problems With It I Bought This Brand Because I Had Trouble With The Tiger Brand About A Year Or So Ago Sadly, This Order Had Same Of The Same Problems I Had With The Tiger Order Some Discs Had Defective Coating On Front, Clear See Thru Pin Holes That A Laser Light Would Detect and Finally The Burn Side Of The Discs Had Scratches and Some Had Black Spots On The Burn Side Turns Out These Discs Came From The Same Plant In Taiwan That Makes The Tiger Brand My Advice Is . . . If You Order Either Tiger Or Gigablock Discs . . . You Better Check The Whole Order When They Come In Out Of 500 Discs We Ordered . . . We Have Went Thru 350 Discs So Far and Found 132 Bad Discs We Still Have 150 Discs To Try and Use But We Have No Idea Yet How Many Defective Discs We Will Find
