Avoid like plague
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Our humidifier finally arrived today and within 3 hours of having it on our wood stove we have decided to get rid of it. First off there is a tag on the product that says contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer. It also states that this is for NON FOOD use only. Didn't think much of it, as we are just using it to add humidity to the air. But after about an hour on top of the wood stove the whole house smelled like burning chemicals. I was outside but I came back in and was disgusted by the smell, and my girlfriend who had been in the house the whole time said she felt lightheaded and dizzy. If it's not safe for food, you probably don't want to be breathing the vapors from it either. Also it is a two piece mold that has a weld running down the center of the kettle, and it didn't look like it was welded very well. If it broke and spilled water all over your wood stove, it could crack your stove and burn your house down. so in closing, AVOID THIS PRODUCT LIKE THE PLAGUE! Unless of course you like inhaling toxic fumes and plan on dying in a house fire.
