We're GLAD we purchased this movie!
An old time family favorite - POLLYANNA teaches us all that even when we are "down and out" you can find something to be glad about. Thus, becomes the game her father (deceased) taught her... "The Glad Game". Pollyanna is orphaned and comes to live with her wealthy aunt. Everyone she meets becomes a friend. She can change the grumpy into cheerful, the sad into happy, the introverts into friendly, and the proud into humble. This is definitely a classic family movie and one that I recommend for your collection!

Looking for a DVD worth a spot in your collection?
Monsters, Inc. has been out for a few years, but it's still a family favorite of ours. As a family who cancelled our subscription to the cable and we don't own a dish, we are very particular about what we watch. While you can get the news on the internet, it's still a simple pleasure to watch a movie and eat popcorn together. This movie fits that category. With no obscene language, coarse gestures, etc., the lovable "monsters" in this film exhibit characteristics which humans express. They come to realize the power of laughter and what really counts in life. Our first copy was VHS and we have since purchased a DVD to have in our collection.

Best Bible Picture Book for Children Ever Published!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I originally purchased this book, because our copy literally fell apart from use. We used it for family Bible reading time with our children when they were young. They are now 18 and 19 years old and they still talk about the Read 'N Grow Picture Bible. Both made requests to have their own copies to have when they leave home. I have purchased this book for baby shower gifts and have sent several copies overseas to help mothers teach their own children Bible stories. I have used it when I have taught children's Bible classes at worship services and have recommended it to others. It's a great Bible story book that reminds the children that the Bible is full of real stories about real people that lived long ago. It doesn't leave the impression that it's just a story, as some of today's Bible story books look more like cartoons. Highly recommended. Sorry to see it out-of-print at times and I snatch up good copies when I can. You won't regret purchasing this book.
