Cheap but fuctional
I do not expect this to be the last ever wirecutter I need in my life.
Actually, I ruin them quite quickly on average.
This one comes pre-ruined even.
The jaws have well-visible notches, as if this had been used for a while and on cutting steel wire.
The two halves are also not of the same length.
At first, the wire cutter was basically functional and would have collected a 4-star rating, even with the notches in the blades.
But hen I cut 4 pieces of copper wire (0.75 mm² solid wire).
And now the two blades are out of alignment already.
This defies the purpose of an unfazed wire cutter, rendering the cheap tool useless.
So the old wisdom stays true: nothing is as expensive as cheap tools.

imprecise and badly made
The pliers do not close completely.
The wirecutter section of the pliers is closed well before the flat pliers close.
The joint has noticeable play even straight out of the box - this is not a precision tool and t he precision will most likely get worse by wear.
This would still have won a 3-star rating and a recommendation, given that the pliers are really cheap, so wear is not an issue and once the wirecutter is a bit used, the pliers will probably close all the way.
Or rather: they would.
If they were parallel and not so badly burred.
Basic functionality is provided, so 2 stars can be given.
