A true story of the 60’s which you’ve never heard of!
Kevin Hazzard is a gifted writer, who himself served as a paramedic for many years, and he tells a very compelling story about the founding of the paramedic movement. It is a story that I, like most people, had never heard about, that starts is the late 1960’s and is emblematic of its’ times. It reads like a memoir of the major players involved. I found it interesting and well worth my time.

Quite possibly the best book to date written about Robert McNamara
I don’t like Robert McNamara any better after reading this book, but I think that now I have a better understanding of who he was. It doesn’t make excuses for what he did, but it did make me feel more empathy for him as a human being.

Great memoir
This is a great memoir and as good or better as his two earlier books!
