Well the switch broke.
Well I pulled it through the hole and discovered that the wires were connected. I disconnected them and then connected them to the new key switch. I pushed it back through the hole. I sat on the seat and farred that thing up . Man it runs like it’s supposed to. Could be that new switch.

Great product, have had a few over the years. Replacement for the old one I lost. Thankfully the phone wasn’t in in.
