Really great Nakiri for the money!
2 von 3 finden das hilfreich No this isn't a super fancy 64-layer hammered Damascus Honyaki or Kasumi Nakiri. It's a very good quality, well-made, reasonably priced, simple, kitchen workhorse. Light in weight, nicely balanced and beautifully shaped in the traditional style, this double bevel Nakiri is a real find..
While the handle isn't the best fit or finish...you're not buying this knife for the handle esthetics, are you? No. You're buying it for the blade, the sharpness, the agility and the overall forging quality. The handle is serviceable and that's enough.
In a nutshell, I'm very happy with my Tojiro Yasuki Shirogami Nakiri.
Oh, the seller, bt-japan, is excellent in their communication, honest listing and quick shipment. Very happy with them too!

Another excellent device from Apple.
What a handy little unit! I loaded it with music from my itunes library and plugged this Nano into my restaurant's sound system. By using the 'shuffle' feature, we can have continuous music during our open hours. Sweet!

Great help for over-pronation
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I had foot surgery to try to correct arch problems caused by over-pronation, but it didn’t really help much and I still have difficulty being on my feet for more than an hour or two. Being a chef who needs to be on his feet for hours each day, this is a real problem. The Donjoy brace, coupled with a good orthotic insert, is really helping me have less pain.
I can wear normal shoes...I even wear flip-flops with the brace. My wife teases me saying I look like a convict with an ankle bracelet, but it sure helps me function at the necessary level.
