Great throttle, once you figure out how to use it with an older Digitrax system
Got this throttle to supplement the DT400 and UT4D we already had. We have a very large layout (30 x 30, two levels) and needed another dual-throttle unit. It took a while to figure out how to get it to cooperate with the ten-year-old Digitrax Super Chief system. Digitrax has made some changes to the default settings that have to be coordinated with the older system before the throttle will work wirelessly, but once that was taken care of, it works great.
Digitrax could be a little clearer in their instructions about setting it up. Typically for Digitrax, they have steps one through XX, but assume you know about steps A through Z that you have to know before you can go to steps 1 through whatever. Thank God for the Internet and Digitrax users on line that post simple instructions for us less-than-electronic-engineers.

Good quality N to PL259 adaptor
I needed this for my 70cm rig that has an SO239 input, but my feedline is equipped with N connectors. Works great.

Just like all Bentley manuals, GREAT!
If you own a BMW you need a Bentley manual. This one for the E90/91/92/93 is just as detailed as all of them. In fact, many dealership mechanics use these instead of the factory manual. From the simplest job to the most complex, it's covered here.
