coming up for air

The characters just lived. Kids ran around and played together, they did not just sit alone moving only there thumbs concentrating on some violent video game.
Nobody had their life swamped with ads for Medicare suppliment plans, final expense insurance, lasic surgery, and the dreaded "belly fat." Nobody sat for hours staring at "reality" shows having nothing to do with reality.
The movie reminded me of the days when people were alive. After I watched it, I turned off the tube, walked in the forest, talked with people, sat in a cafe; basically I went searching for a life I'd misplaced.
