Smooth blending on multiple surfaces

Never Again Will I Buy a Fiskars
I do not have this particular Fiskar Mat but I am here trying to replace the 24x36 Fiskar mat that I do have. I would never buy a Fiskar product again. The shears, the scissors and now the mat have all failed to meet minimum standards.
The cutting mat has slices all over the surface. They do not heal! The numbers and measurement lines along the sides are unreadable. And I am not convinced that it is even square!
