Rewarding buy.
Remainder but very nice condition. Clean. One of the greatest Americana books of the 20th century. What is palpable is the relative innocence, though infinite variety, of those encountered…in various modes of transportation.

Wonderful book and copy!
Should have been rated “Like New” instead of the more modest “Very Good” in my opinion. And a wonderful book by Larry Brown, the fireman from Mississippi who learned to convey real life in the terms of the worthwhile ordinary people experiencing it, and then left us all too soon. But left us with a pond that won’t be forgotten….as this appreciation may have been in its posthumous release.
Looks like I got the last copy……
and happy for it!
