Great sound and an even greater price
I love this sound bar so much, I bought a few to give as gifts. I did my research before buying the first one, and the general consensus of reviews seemed to be that this sound bar gives the best bang for the buck, so I bought one and l love it. This sound bar lives up to the hype--the reviews are legit. I am just your average guy, so I might not be able to hear how a $300 or $500 sound bar sounds better than this one for listening to music (to me it doesn't), so I would never spend two or three times the price that I can get this one for (under $150). In my view, this sound bar is the best value out there (as of 2020-2021).

Awesome film, horrible DVD
The movie was excellent overall. It presented a very entertaining story, was well cast, and well directed, and very well done overall. I believe it received several Academy Award nominations, and won two--Best Supporting Actor, to John Gielgud (who was excellent, and Best Song, for the theme song by Christopher Cross). However, I could only give the DVD version an average rating because the quality is so poor that I almost could not watch it. I cannot believe that the studio that put this DVD out (Warner Brothers) would release such a poor quality product just to make a few bucks. The DVD is old TV format, not widescreen, and the sound was TERRIBLE. The quality is so bad that I think I could have produced one of equal or better quality by recording off the TV myself.

Most durable socks
Gold Toe socks are the highest quality socks I have found and well worth the cost, since they last much longer than other socks. I must be hard on socks, because I will have holes worn in the toes and/or the heels within a year or so, but Gold Toe socks last for many, many years. And I found a great price for these on eBay, so it was a no brainer. Highly recommended!
