My NRG experience...
I love the NRG quick release I currently have. Install was simple and easy. I installed this along with the NRG SRK-170H short hub and NRG suede 2-button steering wheel in my 1999 Viper. It all went together amazing. The toughest part of the job was disassembling the steering wheel and factory clockspring on my Viper. The only downside of the install is the lack of instructions and the fact that now I do not have a turn signal cancellation any longer. Also, I think it should be made clear to people looking to buy this that you must also purchase a hub in order to do the install. I'm sure there were a good amount of people that bought this and received it and then realized they also need a hub. Those are my only gripes. On top of the quick release body, there is a little safety button that you have to push in while you pull back the quick release in order to pull the wheel off. It's kind of a pain in the butt, however you can remove the button with a little Allen screw and solve that issue. Just remember to hold the button down with your finger while unscrewing the Allen screw or it will shoot out across the room and inevitably get lost. So, fits excellent, looks great, functions amazing, but could use some basic instructions and clear information that you must also purchase a hub also, and a solution to the loss of you turn signal cancellation issue.
