Excellent quality Thorens Mushroom Grommets

I just purchased these and installed them on my Thorens TD124. The rubber is very high quality, soft, pliable but firm and thick enough to hold it's shape for a very long time. These should easily last another 30-40 years on the old 124! Highly recommend them. Purchased two sets for both my 124s. Quite grateful someone has built a comparable replacement to the originals.

Essential Tool For Cartridge Setup

Just used this last night and it is VERY helpful. Well made and nearly weightless. Just put it on top of your headshell, drop the needle on the record and see what adjustments need to be made. This must be in every vinyl lover's turntable toolkit.

Improved Clarity

I replaced 3 12AX7s in my V1, V2 and V5 positions in my MC275 with these and it was a HUGE change for the better. I had 3 Telefunken (branded Dynaco) that sounded very warm, but also very muddy at times. The GE JAN 5751s aren't quite as bass heavy, but the bass is very tight, vocals and highs amazingly clear. They may tend to lean slightly to the bright side, but with other tubes in the setup to accommodate, they sound very good. Also in the 275 are NOS Mullard 12AT7s and Gold Lion reissue KT88s. YMMV
