Great product!!!
This modem has been extremely reliable for me. Stays connected. Never reboots itself.
** I don't use the built-in router, nor the built-in wireless... I strictly use the DSL-2640B for its reliable DSL modem function.**
I have always put my DSL modems in "bridge" mode, and then connected them to a separate wireless router; the separate router establishes the link to the ISP and connects to all my computers/phones/games (for years I used a DI-634M router, and have recently switched to a DIR-655 router, both excellent routers with this modem).

Extremely versatile
I have many of these for both home and office. I use them to protect papers I carry around outside. I keep my soccer roster in this on the bench when I'm coaching. I keep papers in them for protection around the farm. The see-through is great for keep papers together to clearly see the contents. My One Wish Is That Avery Would Bring Back product # 72254; this is the 24-pack clear version Corner Lock(TM).

DI-634M is solid!
1/16/2011 Finally, after struggling with D-Link's 524 and 614 series wireless routers for the past few years, this DI-634M is great!!!!
(4/8/2014 Update: Still amazing!!! that since writing this review in Jan 2011, this wireless router is as fast and reliable as ever! But now I'm replacing the DI-634M, with the newer DIR-655 because it has new improved QoS engine to help with my slow ISP.))
Only two things to watch for if they might affect you: 1.) It lacks the ability to "block" specific URLs, like the older routers could; if you enable its URL filter, it only lets you select specific URLs to "allow"; (can set up specific IP addresses in 634M to log all their internet access, or just get a URL blocking program for your computers) 2.) The VPN pass-through is a bit odd; leave it "disabled" when there is only one VPN user, or for one or more VPN users, set it to "enabled" and set Special Application Trigger UDP 500 to open Both 80,500 ports (or whatever port #s your VPN software needs).
