Pro quality in a single rack space
A very high quality stereo 31 band eq that only takes up one rack space. The built in power supply, as opposed to the previous generation of Rane products that used a bulky external power supply also saves valuable space in my very crowded rack. This eq replaced another well known brand and the sound quality and speed of dialing in a great sound was very obvious, not to mention gaining another rack space for other gear. ( My previous eq took up 2 rack spaces)

Made my high end drivers sound like a piezo tweeter
While the cost is certainly much lower than a true JBL or Radian diaphragm, the sound quality is not nearly as good. I installed these in my JBL 2425 drivers, and the sound was very harsh, instead of the smooth and warm sound these drivers usually produce. These diaphragms might be ok to have on hand as an emergency and temporary replacement, but definitly not for permanent use.
