BUT, if you have old-fashioned radiators at home, these radiator humidifier are the best solution.
Yes it needs some maintenance, filling them up periodically, but beyond that they are a passive, silent, and absolutely energy efficient and effective means of keeping a healthy humidity levels at home.

Blast from the past, and golden opportunity for the future.
It is a great loss to hobbyists that these kits are no longer made.
Finding one in the state and at the price I found this was a huge benefit.
I assembled one MANY years ago.
This one I will assembly with my young son.
