This aftermarket keyboard is not as rigi...
This aftermarket keyboard is not as rigid as the OEM keyboard. There were no locking tabs under the keyboard like the ones on the OEM keyboard. It also snagged a bit trying to line the keyboard up with the screws. The ribbon cable did not line up exactly with the motherboard connector. Had to do some minor trimming to get it to line up properly. Other than these issues, it worked. Guess that's what really matters

Brings my vintage MD portable back to life
Those of you that remember the mini disc format, my portable player (Walkman style) has been sitting in my desk cabinet for years. The original battery has since died and can no longer be charged. Decided to order this aftermarket battery. I can now listen to my MD collection again.
