Superb Newberry Medal-winning book
Has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. First read it in 6th grade and I would say that's about the right time for most of what's in it. There are a few passages that parents would be well-advised to talk to their kids about, but that's if they're good parents and aren't already letting their kids into far worse things which cynically, I think most are. It's well-deserving of the Newberry Medal. It's the kind of book that would get overlooked today but it's really a terrific book.

A very worthwhile upgrade
Really a nice upgrade from the factory buzzer-style alarm to the chime. The swap took less than 30sec and was complete. Would recommend this to anyone.
