A fun and easy read
This is a superb little book with a good sense of humor about some of the great names in Christian history. Martin Luther had a Wife examines the marriages of 5 spiritual leaders whose marriages have the same joys and problems as anyone else. There are 4 successful marriages and 1 failure represented in each book in the 3 book series written by Petersen. (Harriet Beecher Stow had a Husband and Johann Sabastian Bach had a Wife) The books are based on letters, documents, etc. that record conversations and events between husband and wife. A truly fun and easy read. I have been buying up several used copies (out of print) for a women's study group in our church.

Fabulous parody
Dav Pilkey, noted children's author and illustrator, created this superb book. It was his first published work and shows his sense of humor in poking fun at the seriousness of adult problems. World War Won is an anti-war poem with delightful animal drawings. The escalation of armaments (frozen corn!)is hilarious and the conclusion fully satisfying.
