Great Book; Happy to have a Hardcover
I enjoyed this book when I was younger and I can't wait to share it with my kids. It gives a good overview of world history in a clear and engaging fashion. So happy to find a hardcover at an affordable price and in great condition. Thank you.

Happy With This Purchase
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The material seems very thorough and I am looking forward to using it this school year. The experiments are simple and the explanations clear. It is written from a Christian worldview by the man who wrote the Apologia curriculum. I'd recommend looking at YouTube reviews of this curriculum if you want to get a better idea of what it's like. It does reference a notebook that is for older and oldest student in higher grades, so just something to be aware of. The elementary grades don't require a notebook, although it may be useful for the one teaching to have an idea of what is being retained. Hope that helps!

Great Ideas
I have several of Rachel Miller and Holly Homer's books, and they are so delightful and creative in format. I like how simple things are and how the experiments use mostly household materials. I also like how they begin each experiment with a question to engage the child's interest (i.e. Can you make sand waterproof? Can you poke a hole in a bag of water and prevent the water from coming out?) I plan to use this as a concept reinforcement guide during the school year and for fun activities during the summer months.
