Great beginning reader book
I collect hippos and I work in a preschool for Head Start. I look for books that will hold the attention of a preschooler that are either simply fun or have a simple lesson to learn. This book has nice art, is not too wordy for kids and gives a simple science lesson about heat and cooling off. It addresses a region of the world. I love it! Being hard bound I expect it to be on my shelf for many more years at work.
