Magnificent
I have watched many videos of Turandot and this one is far and away the best : Maria Guleghina as well as singing with great power and authority in the title role gives a nuanced dramatic performance as do all the other principals : the conductor Andris Nelsons keeps all the ensembles developing to great effect : special shout out to Ping, Pang, and Pong, their scene alone is worth the price of the disc.
