good design solid value, color determines pricing
These are really well built and designed. I'm not sure why the chrome ones are so much cheaper than the silver ones, and the white ones another price in between, but if you don't care about color buy chrome same idea same quality.

Brown Betty
Without doubt this is the ubiquitous pot used in British households for many years... and for good reason. Simple in design, it brews a perfect cup of tea without lots of fancy and unnecessary features. My mother had one before me that dated to her childhood in pre WW2 London. Perhaps some might argue that it is common, plain, uninteresting, and they would be right....but do you want a show piece or a perfect cup of tea? Be careful of knock offs made in China. (The fact that this plain Jane is worth copying is a testament to its desirability) Only the English product can be trusted to have a heavy metal free glaze.
