AMR Gold Fuse performance

This is probably the cheapest upgrade that I have made to my system that has returned such good results. The improvements that I have experienced are less grain in the mid and high frequencies, more extended bass and deeper sound stage. For me the improvement in the treble frequencies was the best allowing higher listening levels without fatigue. The sound becomes more realistic. I first changed only the mains plug fuses and then went on to change the internal fuse in my pre amplifier. Each had a significant effect with the pre amp probably the biggest. I didn't believe, before trying, that a fuse would make such a big difference but it does! It also works well with TVs.

Synergistic Research SR20 fuse

Replaced 4 stock internal fuses for the Sr20s in my system. They made a significant improvement to the sound stage and width. There was also a significant reduction in high frequency glare making the system so much easier to listen too. I would say they were one of the most cost effective upgrades i have made. If you have a hi resolution system then these are definitely worth a try. (System consists of Krell amplification and Esoteric SACD player). I also replaced the mains lead fuse with a synergistic research Black fuse and further improved the sound in all the same areas.
