Joe Pass Solo Guitar - a mastery of the instrument and the material
Pass recorded this with the amp set low and must have miked the guitar itself, because you can hear the pick strokes and strings (all except for the ballad Here's That Rainy Day) - it sounds like an acoustic arch top, with a few places where you'll notice the sustain and tone of the amp. A great recording!
