Grant merits good marks in history

Grant has his disclaimers but I don't believe them. He was an outstanding war strategist. Ike Eisenhower always kept a copy of Grant's Memoirs handy for devising his own strategy in WWII. I have read the Grant memoirs and compared them to Chernow's book. They jibe. As a result of Chernow's book, I have raised my ranking for Grant as a general and a human being. Leave the remaining statues of Grant alone. He well deserves them. The black community owes him a ton.

It Does Make Coffee

It works for now. I have only had it a week. The machine it replaced far was more sturdy and rugged than this one, albeit I did scrap it. If memory serves me it enjoyed four years of service. I am doubtful that this one will endure as long. To be honest, it does all the things it is supposed to.

Proud to keep Old Glory flying

Nylon flags are my favorites for the US flag since I fly it almost every day. Polyesters are too fragile and only one-sided. Cotton is expensive and too heavy for my purposes. I have found this flag to be optimal for me and I got this one at a better than competitive price. I have not had to put this one in service yet but will when my current identical product needs replacing. Sometimes I fly unique flags below the US only once or twice a year. They obviously get little wear. In those cases, I chose the economy of polyesters over their shorter longevity.
