Ahead of its time. Easy to watch. Enjoyable writing.
This series was groundbreaking and it is a shame it only lasted for one season. Beverly Garland plays is strait and from the hip in this 1950's B&W film noir television series. I like that she breaks the fourth wall and talks to the viewing audience at the end of each episode. Way cool.

Great except for a factory error
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Disc one is labeled "Final Cut" but it actually has the "Working Print", so in this set you get the "Working Print" on discs one and five (a factory error) and you don't actually get the "Final Cut". I don't know how many of the sets have this problem but mine sure did. I had to purchase the "Final Cut" by itself. But that's OK because this 5 disc blu-ray has the U.S. cut, the International cut and the Director's cut and loads of extras and documentaries. All in all worth it and if you get the error disc, still worth it and get the "Final Cut" separately like I did. If it weren't for the misprinted disc I would have rated this with 5 stars.

Cartoon Rarities of the 1930's
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Being old enough to be a child in the first generation of television, I remember seeing these cartoons in the early 1950's and trying to figure out how animation was achieved. Wonderfully nostalgic and a good cross-section of early animation.
