Solid Construction / Feature Packed / Affordable

Rotary switch is good, but not as good as my Fluke 179.
Test leads are a better design than my Fluke. The Brymen banana plugs have rubberized grips, making them easier to unplug from meter (my irritating Fluke banana plugs are low-profile and cheap plastic making them difficult to unplug from meter)
Cables are flexible.
The backlight evenly illuminates the entire display, and is twice as bright as the Fluke.
Light stays on for 10 minutes so you don't feel like you have to rush to take your measurement (Fluke is 2 minutes, some meters are only 10 seconds).
Capacitance measurement is fairly accurate and settles within 3 seconds.
I checked out the diode tester on some red and green LEDs, including combined 3 pin red+green. It shows the forward bias voltage, more or less 2 volts, and the LEDs have a very very faint glow (Fluke lights them up clearly).
Buttons are intuitive and well placed, no manual is required.
Overall, Brymen provides most of what people like in a Fluke but at a price that is not out of reach for most.
