Great product at this price point
I bought a used Braava m6 directly from iRobot for about $150 (no pads, no cleaner). I've been very pleased with the quality of the product. It came clean, in original packaging, with all necessary parts, no manual (which is available in the app anyway). It works nicely and mops a much larger area than I expected. I'm still getting used to the possible adjustments in terms of path overlap and spray pattern, but so far the standard medium settings work best for me.
Mapping, ugh. Probably no worse than any other robotic floor cleaner, but it's hard not to judge it based on computer tech instead of the more truly comparable hardware tech. But mapping your floor plan is tedious, the map doesn't stick for the first several mapping attempts, and the Braava m6 will not accept the existing map from a Roomba s9+ vacuum. That said, EVENTUALLY the map sticks and your life changes. My floors are now clean, always. With six adults, one dog, three cats, and a special needs child in the house, my floors got dirty, sticky, and gross faster than I could clean them. I'm much happier living in my own house now.
Could the cleaning be deeper and more detailed? Not at this price point. (Betcha thought I was going to say yes.) For $150 I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Separately I bought reusable mopping pads and the Bona brand cleaner that works with it. (DO NOT USE THE RECOMMENDED 6 CAPFULS, you'll have sticky, soapy floors. I haven't dialed it in yet, but I'm down to half that and I think I can go to two capfuls.)
