Funny and endearing characters
totally brilliant series - I bought it for my parents to get them through the winter months - there are 89 episodes. they love it. Lots of laughs. Stories about country life in the 1930s, with really funny, eccentric characters and very good acting - There is also a love affair. Very endearing and likeable show.
