    Exactly as described. It took over a week to be shipped from when I purchased. Contacted seller and they had an issue with their printer. Kept me updated and shipped the item the next morning providing me with a pic of package with shipping label. Once shipped, it was delivered within a few days. Packaging was excellent.

Finest Collection of Covers and Originals by R.E.M.
Dead Letter Office - released in the year 1987, is composed of covers and originals of b-sides throughout the I.R.S. years. The history behind the songs is just as interesting as the songs themselves! Originals such as Ages of You -- which was recorded and intended to be put on the band's EP Chronic Town, but was replaced with Stumble instead due to Ages of You having a much more pop-ier sound, which would have not quite fit with the theme of Chronic Town -- and Burning Down -- which is an unfinished recording that was initially intended to be put on the band's second LP Reckoning. But according to guitarist Peter Buck, they got bored of it, and moved on with Reckoning with the absence of the song -- are truly magnificent tracks. Recordings such as Voice of Harold -- which composes of the instrumentation including backing vocals from 7 Chinese Bros., along with readings from the Bible and lyrics based on Harold in the Bible sang by lead singer and predominant songwriter Michael Stipe; was recorded to boost the confidence of Stipe during the recording sessions of Reckoning -- are keen to Dead Letter Office. The instrumentals will not make you bored! Original instrumentals White Tornado and Rotary Ten are extremely catchy! Covers such as Crazy, Toys in the Attic, Femme Fatale, etc. are given the R.E.M. touch, and sound truly wonderful. Dead Letter Office is truly an amazing album and collection of covers and originals! -- I personally love it!!!! 3 --
