There was an issue that the active circuit side wasn’t working. Seller replaced the batteries before sending and I think this loosened a connection in the active circuit. I’ve now got it working after a bit of investigation with a multi meter and a solder repair. The seller was genuinely surprised and did offer refund and return. I accept a small refund and to keep the instrument. A very decent man indeed buy with confidence

Great preamp which is very versatile and is a good price.

Great range of sounds from this little device
Great range of sounds from this little device. It's small enough to carry around and works off 4xAA batteries or a power supply. I use it mainly for rehearsing and playing along to songs on my computer - can be connected by USB or by an aux in cable. Connecting via the USB also allows editing of the patches - 100 user-definable ones, and 100 that are set, so 200 in all!
