Brilliant Film!
This is my favourite film, first watched in the '70s. Sarah Miles and Robert Mitchum are excellent in their roles and John Mills is fantastic in the part of the village idiot in spite of the fact that he had no lines to learn! The theme music and the breathtaking Irish scenery are a perfect background to this romantic story. Ireland is such a beautiful country and I cannot think how anyone watching this film would not want to visit it. I am one of the lucky ones - I now live there!

No soap dispenser!
Parcel arrived with no chrome soap dispenser in it! There was only a plastic bottle inside so I cannot rate this product.

Great Film.
I have only been learning German for a short time and found this film easy to understand because of the German subtitles and the fact that the characters spoke clearly. I had lived in Africa for some time so the setting brought back many memories. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and will be lending the DVD to other members of my German class!
