Steve Earle and Norman Blake-Heavy country vibes-5 stars!
This is amazing music. Old time sounds updated with virtuosos performances by Steve Earle and the great Norman Blake. Hard to find,only available on CD ,unfortunately. Wish it was available on vinyl! This is REAL country music,not the overproduced pseudo soft rock country you hear everywhere.

Not Neil's best.
I am a big Neil Young fan.This is OK stuff,strictly for superfans. The tapes were hidden away for 45 years for good reason. The music is weak and some of it is found on other recordings . I've listened to it 4 times and that's probably it.Filed away as an artifact of a time when Neil was slightly out of it.
