Cautious but very pleased.
I have been looking at auto gate openers for a while and was a little cautious of going for one of these cheap oriental models.
I placed the order and was expecting a long delivery time. It arrived 2 days later, well packaged with no extra customs import. They must have stick in the UK. Everything was there and some fitting instructions, though the translation of some of it was amusing as usual. The instructions are not very in depth, but with a bit of thought and common sense it wasn't too difficult.
It has now been fitted for 3-4 weeks and works very well. The blippers work very well at a good range. The motor is very powerful and quiet. The magnetic switches that control the opening and closing positions work well and I like the extra connections in the control box to allow extra features like key pads and warning lamps. The only thing is that I wish I had bought the item before I installed the gate as I would have positioned things slightly differently. I have managed to make some adjustments to get it working but it would have been easier if I hadn't fitted the gate already.
Overall I am very happy with the item. It's long term reliability is yet to be seen but it's not working very hard so I am hopeful. I keep the chain well greased along with the rollers and wheels on the gate. The disengagement lever is plastic and if you force it, I imagine it wouldn't take too much to snap it. That and the poor instructions are the only points that drop it from a 5* to a 4*. Other than that I am very happy.

Great camera
Read many reviews before purchasing, to upgrade from a D80. Had it for a year now and very pleased with the results and performance. The video facility is excellent. Stunning sharp clear images. The only downside is battery life, compared to the D80. With all the extra features expect to charge batteries more often. Worth buying a couple of spares. As if your using it a lot a day out is a stretch for 1 battery.

Great torch.
Excellent quality, very prompt delivery. Just the right size To hold in the hand. Very bright despite only one LED. Magnetic back and swivel head are useful extras.
