Cuts well, needs a better hose arrangement
The hoses on this product are very exposed, and when they hook on brush they can pull and turn the connections which then start spraying hydraulic oil. I don't think I've made it more than an hour or two without this happening. The cord that goes with the hoses down to the solenoid that operates the rotating shear option just caught on something and broke off so it won't snap back on so I have to wait for parts to use that function now.
On the other hand the shear does a fantastic job of cutting down 8-12" birch trees, then cutting them into manageable lengths on the ground. It has mostly only been the loose hose issue that is giving me problems. I am actually considering moving the manifold and hoses to a safer location, rather than hanging off the side of the unit.

wrong thread...ebay blew it
It has the wrong thread. Got one at local NAPA. Bad job ebay for "matching" it to my truck. Not worth mailing it back.
