Great product and price!
Because they have a nut fitting at bottom of filter to engage to loosen and tighten easier!

The ceramic pads fit and work well. No fade or squeaks. The front pad wear sensor work fine but the one rear they provided was too short to plug into factory plug. I wanted to use new wear sensor, so I cut new plug at end off and my old sensor to splice the 2 wires from each to use my longer factory wiring plug. Used some good electrical tape and it works but would have been better if it was a whole new proper length rear brake pad wear sensor. This is for a 2006-2008 VW Phaeton V8 or V12. All use one right rear wear sensor only.
