Poor quality but still a good buy.
This looks nice...very like early copies of the book. However, it is not a really quality pressing..stiff, thick pages etc. Of course the story cannot be surpassed and if you just want it to look nice while reading to your kids, it is a nice book.

A film that stayed in my memory for decades
No a universal appeal, but a deep and moving story with great characters portrayed by good actors.
The film is about strong female characters in an extraordinary time. Based on a portion of Lillian Hellman's book: Pentimento. Even if you do not like Hellman herself, there is no doubt that she is one of our finest playwrights/

Flawed but fun to watch with a cult following
This movie was beautiful, especially for its time. But the acting was terrible for the most part. Still it has a good following I think because of the good cast and the look.
