Stepping over brand snobbery as these are exceptional.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Nikon EDG binoculars are among the best kept secrets of the binocular world. Unofficially - but seemingly - now discontinued, the remaining stocks of EDGs are to be cherished. I have Zeiss, and have owned other Zeiss and Leica binoculars in the recent past, yet these 8x32s have become my favourite general birding binocular. Beautiful contrast, dark baffling, great grip and easy to handle and with a silk smooth focus wheel. Stepping over brand snobbery, this range of binoculars are exceptional. I really hope Nikon reconsider and continue in the premium very top-end market of sports optics. I knew these were nice, but even I'm surprised at how good they are. Delighted.

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Much better ergonomics than their more expensive versions of mini binoculars (and of previous eras) and offer an excellent lightweight and small alternative to a conventional binocular. The focus wheel is a little stiffer than might have been expected and there is a mild feeling of "plastic" throughout, but they are bright and clear as well as being genuinely lightweight, with comfortable eye pieces/relief. They are a shade dearer than one might expect for this standard of mini-binocular, but they do use ED glass (making the images brighter). Perfect for in the car, travel or children! For me, they offer decent performance for hill walking wildlife walks when I don't want to damage my main - and much more expensive - binoculars!
