Performs as advertised, almost.

The cooking surface is very hard and durable. I find it not to be totally stick free when bare and dry but a light spray with PAM does the job.

Nice saw.

This is a very nice product. The only criticism I have is the sharpening. In my opinion the saw is not ready to use as it is delivered. This is often.the case With bargain products and sometimes with much more expensive saws.

This is a functional plane at a reasonble cost.

I like this plane because of the quality, light weight and handy size. I haven't used it enough to determine how long the blade will hold up between sharpenings but it did take a nice edge and cuts cleanly. The blade adjustment is not as convenient as a traditional plane, but not bad.
