Handy Little Noise Tester
I cannot attest to its precision, but for almost nothing (~$15) it does register the noise level and can indicate when sound levels are becoming hazardous. It has a big digital dial which you can photograph to "Save" evidence of an indicated noise level. Requires one 9V battery.

Good Thermostat
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is an electric baseboard thermostat, but people must buy them for a furnace (won't work) and return them with the packaging trashed so the store has to unload them cheap. I replaced every thermostat in my house with these, and I picked them up for next to nothing at stores and on eBay.
You can program these to change temperature for the time of day, etc., if you don't have an instruction booklet the information is available online - which you will need if you want to do any fancy programming. Conveniently runs on 120 and 240 volt baseboards and it doesn't need batteries as it runs on the baseboard current. Screen illuminates when you touch the buttons and shows time and temp and if heat is on.
It's very easy to install, but cut the power to you baseboards before installing or you will die.
