Schmidt, Lives of the Poets, Signed First Edition

An encyclopedic overview of many poets... but much better than an encyclopedia as the author makes it engaging , insightful and fun!

Terrific book for insight into many great poets. Engaging background material as well as insight into poems, their metaphors and background. The edition I received was signed by the author and was in terrific condition. One can pick anywhere to read and it is a joy!

Learn about music the FUN way!

I purchased one of these books and ended up purchasing 3 more to give away to musician friends. What a delightful and fun read!!! It's a great book to have with you when waiting... you can just dive in and enjoy. There are information packed paragraphs with humor thrown in constantly throughout. And I've pulled things out to share with folks to keep a conversation going and to experience a great laugh!
