Small book crammed full of beautiful Edward Ardizonne sketches.
Contains amazing drawings by Ardizonne. I bought this not really knowing what it contained. I'm delighted that it's full of many of his sketches, black and white and coloured, all in his inimitable style with lots of humour. There's also a lot of information about his life - things I didn't know. The sketches were parts of letters sent to friends, parts of diaries and illustrations of holidays and days out. I would love to be able to afford an original picture by Ardizonne, but as I can't, this book is a good second best!

Easy to use
I found these chain connectors really easy to use when making earrings; not too fiddly.

Bought it for a fun gift but the foreward and introduction are seriously informative
I bought this as a little extra for my friend's 70th birthday as we are going to Liverpool for a few days in September. I haven't read it in full but just skimming through the Millennium Reprint Foreward and then the 1966 edition introduction are really interesting in terms of social history and the language changes. Actually, I think it might be wasted on my friend - perhaps I'll keep it for myself - or buy another one!
